Freehold or Condominium Ownership : This is full ownership for life with the apartment registered in the name, of the buyer. Registration is made at the Land Department and the fees, are 6.7% of the value of the property.
LeaseHold Ownership : involves leasing a property for 30 years. This 30 -year period can be renewed 2 twice. Excepting the registration fees, there is no additional cost. Registration is made at the Land Department and the fees, are 1.5% of the value of the property.
